NMC-300 Long delay for heat

Post by dtmackey »

Good day,

Brand new home with 2 heating zones. Gas fired forced hot air with AC, but AC is shut off for the winter season. When selecting the thermostat to increase heat, you will hear the click of the thermostat (call for heat) and the corresponding light will show on the control board W1/B, but it takes 15 minutes or more for the furnace to kick on. It's almost as if there is a delay set.

The call for heat is zone 1 and once it kicks on everything will function fine, but it can be a chilly 15 or so minutes until the furnace kicks on. The above pics show the dip pin settings, indicator LEDs and potentiometer settings.

I'm trying to figure out if the installer incorrectly set up the controls or if I have a larger problem on my hands and need to push back on the builder to get the installer onsite to resolve.

Thanks in advance.
