So replacing my Lennox thermostat: I have a heat pump Orange wire going into zone controller, but no orange wire going from zone controller to thermostat. there is no where to add the orange wire to zone controller.

Wire Colors: and how the old thermo was wired to zone controller
C-Black
W-white
R-red
G-green
Y-yellow

on the zone controller Zone 1 there is

how can i add the CT-30 Thermo and have it switch the valve from A/C to Heat and vice versa with no orange wire hooked up to Thermo..

Sir,

It sounds to me based on the terminals you have described that you have a NCM-300 ver 1.2 Zone Panel.
That Zone Panel is not compatible with Heat Pump Thermostats.
You will have to use straight Heat Cool thermostats with this system.
The NCM-300 will interpret the heat or cool call from the conventional thermostat and output the reversing valve accordingly.
