Ultrazone Zoning System Product Line Warranty

EWC Controls warrants items from our Ultrazone zoning product line to be free of any defect in material and workmanship for a period of five years from date of installation.  This covers control panels, dampers, and motors.  This does not include accessories such as thermostats, subbases, sensors, and transformers which carry a one year warranty.  All returns are subject to a restocking charge and MUST have prior authorization from EWC Controls to be returned.  EWC Controls will not take responsibility for items returned without prior authorization or items returned to us in error.  SPECIAL ORDER AND NON-STANDARD ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

If you are a homeowner you can contact your local EWC Controls HVAC dealer in order to return your warranty part.  EWC Controls offers free technical advice so it is recommended that you contact our technical service department prior to returning any items.  Your dealer will contact us for a returned goods authorization.  EWC Controls will inspect the returned item.  If found to be defective in material or workmanship, the item will be replaced or credited per customer request.  All items must be sent freight pre-paid.

Any item found not to be defective or past the warranty period will be scrapped or returned freight-collect at EWC Control's discretion.

EWC Controls will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, labor charges of any character in connection with the sale, resale or use of the item.

EWC Controls reserves the right to make changes without notice in design, application, and price in order to effect product improvement.

Ultrazone Humidifier Product Line Warranty

All parts for Ultrazone humidifier products (except for humidifier plates and heat elements) are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase as shown on purchaser's receipt.  Electric heat elements for humidifiers are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for ninety (90) days from date of purchase as shown on the purchaser's receipt.

Ultrazone will replace FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any warranted part which proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.  If the item does not function properly upon your initial install we suggest you contact our technical support department to verify a proper installation prior to applying for a warranty return.  Replacement parts can be obtained from your local dealer or distributor.  If you cannot find a local dealer to assist you, you can contact our sales department at (732) 446-3110.

Any injury to this humidifier as a result of misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, or any other use violative of instructions, furnished by us, WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.  THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO DEFECTIVE PARTS REPLACEMENT ONLY.  LABOR CHARGES AND/OR DAMAGE INCURRED IN INSTALLATION OR REPLACEMENT AS WELL AS INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CONNECTED THEREWITH ARE EXCLUDED.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.  In the event of a problem with warranty service or performance, you may be able to go to a small claims court, a state court, or a federal district court.
