Warranty Information
All EWC Controls products are manufactured and/or assembled in the United States. Our products meet all Stimulus Package requirements for the “Buy American” provisions.
Ultrazone Zoning System Product Line Warranty
EWC Controls warrants items from our Ultrazone zoning product line to be free of any defect in material and workmanship for a period of five years from date of installation. All new, non-defective returns are subject to a restocking charge and MUST have prior authorization from EWC Controls to be returned. EWC Controls will not take responsibility for items returned without prior authorization or items returned to us in error. NEW AND UNUSED SPECIAL ORDER AND NON-STANDARD ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
If you are a homeowner with a defective part please contact your local EWC Controls HVAC dealer. EWC Controls offers free technical advice so it is recommended that you contact our technical service department prior to returning any items. Your dealer will contact us for a returned goods authorization. EWC Controls will inspect the returned item. If found to be defective in material or workmanship, the item will be replaced or credited per customer request. All items must be sent freight pre-paid.
Any item found not to be defective or past the warranty period will be scrapped or returned freight-collect at EWC Control’s discretion.
EWC Controls will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, labor charges of any character in connection with the sale, resale or use of the item.
EWC Controls reserves the right to make changes without notice in design, application, and price in order to effect product improvement.
Ultrazone will replace FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any warranted part which proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. If the item does not function properly upon your initial install we suggest you contact our technical support department to verify it was correctly installed prior to applying for a warranty return. Replacement parts can be obtained from your local dealer or distributor. If you cannot find a local dealer to assist you, you can contact our sales department at (732) 446-3110.
THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO DEFECTIVE PARTS REPLACEMENT ONLY. LABOR CHARGES AND/OR DAMAGE INCURRED IN INSTALLATION OR REPLACEMENT AS WELL AS INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CONNECTED THEREWITH ARE EXCLUDED.
This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. In the event of a problem with warranty service or performance, you may be able to go to a small claims court, a state court, or a federal district court.
